FIFA Yet to Decide Venue for 2030 World Cup Final

The race to host the 2030 FIFA World Cup final remains open, with Spain, Portugal and Morocco preparing to host the tournament. FIFA has confirmed that no final decision has yet been made on which stadium will stage the championship match.

Morocco has publicly promoted its planned Hassan II Stadium near Casablanca as a potential venue for the final. The stadium is under construction and is planned to have a capacity of around 115,000 spectators.

Spain has also expressed its interest in hosting the final, with venues including Madrid's Santiago Bernabéu being discussed. FIFA has said that the decision will be taken through the appropriate process and at a later stage.

The 2030 World Cup will be jointly hosted by Spain, Portugal and Morocco, with Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay also hosting commemorative opening matches marking the tournament's centenary. The tournament will therefore span two continents and six countries.
